Stuff the turkey and mash the potatoes – it’s time to give thanks! We’d also like to get back to one of our pillars right now: it takes a village and THANK YOU to our village. Although we are physically missing Thanksgiving with you, our friends and family, we still want to share what we’re thankful for: each and every one of you. YOU have supported us by fostering our free spirits and longing for adventure ever since we were young. YOU have taught us skills, and more importantly, modeled character traits. YOU have encouraged us that we can do anything – even when we’ve questioned our own 5- or 10-year plan – or even if the plan seemed wild and crazy to you. YOU have taken us on adventures through land and sea. YOU have opened your family’s home to us in a new place and taught us your ways of life. YOU have helped us make a home together stateside…and then pack up that same home only 18 months later. So to you all of YOU near and far, and farther, THANK YOU. We are thankful we have you in our lives and we are thankful for what you have taught us to carry forward. Every single one of you has had a direct impact on propelling us to where we are now. Jim’s new hairstylist sent him this message:
Jim’s hair stylist knows where it’s at. This reminder couldn’t have been said more beautifully. Thank you. On Thanksgiving and every day, this perspective provides the attitude that keeps us appreciating. The village wouldn’t be complete without you. xoxoxoxo
